Consultation Roundtable
Zoom, February 15, Noon-1:30 pm
The Consultation Roundtable is a venue where faith community leaders, staff and lay leaders can receive guidance in a casual Zoom setting over lunch. This initiative was launched after this need was identified by a survey of faith communities. The meetings are led by Dr. Ed Nace, a psychiatrist in private practice (serves on the Alliance Executive Team), and Dr. Jeanne Stevenson-Moessner, a SMU Perkins Professor of Pastoral Care and Pastoral Theology. Participants are invited to submit a scenario prior to the session if they wish, in order to share a mental health situation in their community for which they would like advice. The Consultation Roundtable is open to all faith communities. The date of the next session is February 15; the schedule is every other month on the third Wednesday at noon-1:30 pm.
